ROD OVER BEND/ DEEP CORRUGATED WIRE ELEMENTS.

The Rod Over Bend element is formed by bending the wire into continuous loops  and supported on ceramic / metallic pins rigidly in the ceramic fiber, vacuum formed fiber and even on refractory  insulated furnaces.

In some cases where there is a possibility of contamination from the furnace and charge the elements are bent at the tips of the loops to keep the elements clear of the insulation or hearth elements slightly lifted up, say hearth elements in a Heat Treatment furnaces preventing the element from.

The element wire being free to radiate, the elements can be loaded to very high surface loads .
